Flavoring Beverages through Chemistry
Alumnus John Sbordone ’74, President, MetaBEV, Inc. has developed flavor systems for 205 commercial products during his career in the beverage flavoring industry. Faculty and Students learned how chemistry plays a vital role in creating great tasting products and how MetaBEV provides product formulation services for powder mixes, ready-to-drink dairy and non-dairy products.
Using Math in the Financial Services Industry
Alumnus Tom Mansley BS ’89, MBA ’90, Chief Investment Officer, Singleterry Mansley Asset Management Company, discussed the importance of math within the financial services industry with students of Dr. Charles Masiello’s Elementary Statistics class. He also spent time discussing his career from Chase Manhattan Bank after graduation, to WestLB, Seix Advisors and Singleterry Mansley.

Pace Alumna Headed to London to Broadcast Olympic Games
After landing an internship and freelancing as a Production Assistant with NBC Olympics, alumnus, Jessica Wade is headed to the 2012 Summer Games in London this July. While in London, she will work alongside prominent television producers as a Production Assistant to broadcast one of the most important sporting events in the world.
Alumnus Shares Research with Westchester's Magazine
MPA Student Aide and Alumnus, Anna-Kay Sinclair shared her research with Westchester’s 914 Inc. Magazine for an article entitled: “Westchester Corporations’ Charitable Involvement - Corporate philanthropy in Westchester—who gives and what they get in return” Director of The Helene & Grant Wilson Center for Social Entrepreneurship, Dr. Rebecca Tekula, also an alumnus of the MPA program is featured and quoted as well.

Pace Alumna Casted in New ABC Television Series
Theater and Art History alumna Michelle Borth was recently cast in a new role for the ABC televison series Combat Hospital. Borth’s new role plays character, Rebecca Gordon, a trauma surgeon for the Canadian Forces. Borth’s character must quickly learn to adjust to her rank as Major in the fast paced military themed show. Borth has made several televison and film appearances including but not limited to, Hawaii Five-O, The Forgotten, and starred in the HBO one-hour drama series, Tell Me You Love Me, which earned a 2007 American Film Institute Award as one of the best television programs of the year. Combat Hospital airs every Tuesday on ABC, 10|9c.
