DEAN'S MESSAGE

Pace has entered its 100th year -- a remarkable milestone that we plan to celebrate for 15 months. The growth of the university has been impressive, from a school of accountancy to a broadly based institution that includes the liberal arts in Dyson College. During our celebration we will reflect upon past achievements and plan future excellence. Dyson will continue to build and strengthen its programs, particularly the interdisciplinary and international liberal arts programs.

To celebrate Pace's “100 Years of Opportunity,” Dyson will be hosting a variety of large and small events, and we hope you will join us for the festivities. Please visit the Pace Centennial web site at www.pace.edu/centennial for the latest calendar of events.

For our alumni/ae, we endeavor to offer more on-campus activities, and more ways for you to network with alumni/ae, faculty, and undergraduate students. You are living testament to Pace's dedication to Opportunitas and student success, and an integral part of our community. Please join us in celebrating your successes during the Centennial year.

If you are a fan of “Inside the Actors Studio,” hosted by James Lipton on the Bravo cable network, you may have noticed that the program now airs from Pace's Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts on the downtown Manhattan campus. This opens the door to exciting opportunities for Dyson's performing arts majors who are regularly invited to attend the Actors Studio's craft seminars.

I look forward to seeing you at all of our centennial events this year.
