Biography
Dr. Marilyn E. Weigold is a Professor of History, University Historian, and Assistant Chair of the Department of Economics, History and Political Science. A specialist in regional and environmental history, she is the author of Long Island Sound: Its People, Places and Environment (New York University Press: 2004), as well as other works including Silent Builder: Emily Warren Roebling and the Brooklyn Bridge. Her most recent book, Yonkers in the Twentieth Century, was published by SUNY Press in 2014.
