Environmental Studies and Science Graduate Programs

Why choose one of our graduate programs?

Pace University's decade-long commitment to environmental issues will prepare you for a career as no other institution can.

The Faculty

Our faculty work on the leading edge of the latest environmental, scientific, and policy trends. These experienced scholars help our students bridge between the concepts learned in the classroom and real-world applications. Our faculty are dedicated to working closely with students as mentors and collaborators, with small class sizes allowing faculty to provide a highly personalized experience for their students.

Learn Through Experience

Our graduate programs will provide you with both an understanding of the problems we face in our relationship with the natural world, as well as the empirical tools to observe and analyze those relationships. Our programs emphasize experiential learning including internships, externships and research projects. Our faculty’s long list of active partnerships with organizations like the Environmental Protection Agency, the Stone Barns Center, the American Museum of Natural History, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, Riverkeeper and Humane Society of the United States, guarantee practical, real-world experience that often leads to full-time jobs for our graduates.

Our Unique Location

The Hudson River Valley is one of the birthplaces of the environmental movement. Some of the best known environmental victories have occurred here. Nestled between Long Island Sound, New York City and the Adirondacks, Pace University is at the epicenter of environmental policy, law and science.
