To find a homestay in NYC or Westchester, speak with American Homestay Network (AHN).
#2 Hotels and hostels
For short-term stays, a hotel or cheaper hostel is a convenient place to stay. The ELI works with different organizations to help our students find a place that suits their needs and budget.
In New York City, the Aloft Manhattan Downtown, which is just around the corner from Pace’s downtown campus, has special rates for ELI students.
The Vanderbilt YMCA and West Side YMCA are commonly used by students. Rooms are basic, but a swimming and gym are free for guests. They are an easy subway ride away from our downtown campus and an easy walk to our Midtown Center.
Many students at our Westchester/ White Plains campus stay in the heart of White Plains at the local YMCA.
