10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. | Community Service | Kessel Student Center, Dean’s Lounge
Stop by during the day to join us for some community service opportunities that benefit our local community partners. Refreshments will be provided.
Dog toys for our local Briarcliff SPCA animal shelter

11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. | Nature Center Tours | Pace Environmental Center Please join a walking tour of our campus environmental center with our center staff which features Birds of Prey, sheep, goats, owls and more!

12:00–6:00 p.m. | Hospitality Table | Kessel Student Center, Dean’s Lounge

3:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. | First-Generation Family Social | Kessel Student Center, Gottesman Room
First generation students and their families are invited to this special gathering to share advice and stories about the special challenges they may face and how to successfully navigate the college years.

4:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. | Dinner on the Town
Take your student out for dinner and discover some of the great restaurants right in town. See handout from check in with local recommendations

7:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. | Casino Night | Kessel Student Center, Boudreau Lounge Bring your family and friends to enjoy the excitement and the feel of a real casino at Casino Night without the worries of losing your shirt! Sit down at one of many gaming tables, including blackjack, roulette, and Caribbean poker, or “go all in” at Texas hold ‘em. Don’t miss this opportunity to feel like a high roller, or just come and join us for an evening of fun.

Below are some recommended areas to visit around Pace University and Pleasantville.

Jacob Burns Trip
The Jacob Burns Film Center is a nonprofit cultural arts center located at 364 Manville Rd, Pleasantville, NY 10570. Ticket prices are as follows:

  • JBFC Members $10
  • General public $15
  • Senior-nonmembers (62+, Mon.-Thurs. only) $12
  • Children (under 14) $8.00
  • Students (14-22 with valid ID) $10

Union Church of Pocantico Hills
Located at 555 Bedford Rd, Tarrytown, NY 10591. You are welcome to just gaze at the windows on your own or to take a tour. Tours run every 1/2 hour. Most visitors complete the experience in less than 30 minutes. The last tour begins a half-hour before closing. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before closing for a self-guided tour. No reservations required. Learn more about other Historic Hudson Valley properties such as Sunnyside and Kykuit.

Fit Trail Hike
Get outside and get some exercise while enjoying the natural beauty on campus. Hiking boots or sneakers, long pants, sunscreen and drinking water are recommended.

Rockefeller State Park Preserve
Located minutes away at 12 Phelps Way, the Preserve is an idyllic spot for strolling, jogging, and horseback riding. With 180 recorded species of birds and its IBA (Important Bird Area) designation by the National Audubon Society, the Preserve is a must visit area for birders.

Fox Hills Farm
