New Student Checklist

Step 1

Apply for admissions

Step 2

Apply for Financial Aid

Starting: October 1st | Priority FAFSA Submission Deadline: November 15th

  • Create an FSA ID for yourself and your parent (if you are a dependent student).
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or using the myStudentAid Mobile app.
    • Pace University’s FAFSA school codes (please only use one):
      002791 – New York City Campus
      002792 – Pleasantville Campus
    • FAFSA Help
  • After your FAFSA is completed and submitted, you will receive and review your Electronic Student Aid Report (eSAR) from the Federal Processor.
 
Step 3

Check your email regularly and look for requirements on your MyPace Portal

 
Step 4

Receive Your Financial Aid Package

Starting: January

  • As a new student at Pace University you will be emailed your Award Letter notification and link to our Financial Aid Booklet once you are packaged with aid.
  • Log in to your MyPace Portal to:
    • Review your financial aid awards.
    • Accept or decline your aid.
    • Check your Financial Aid Status for any holds or requirements.

Review and Accept your Aid Offers

Step 6

Submit All Required Documentation

  • Submit all required documentation as soon as possible to ensure your aid is reflected on your bill by the bill due date and avoid late fees!
