Mohini Gobin is a native New Yorker who was raised in Long Island and moved to New York City for college. Currently, she is an Academic Advisor and Mentoring Coordinator for the Honors College. Mohini graduated from Pace University New York City and the Pforzheimer Honors College in 2018 with her Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Neuroscience and Psychology. As an undergraduate she was heavily involved on campus in the Honors College, Haskins Lab, the Science Departments, and Housing and Residential Life. Upon graduating, she found herself at the place many students are with figuring out the next steps. With a passion for helping people, she became an Academic Advisor in 2018 and enrolled in a graduate program to enhance her skills and knowledge about mental health. In 2021, she graduated from Pace University Pleasantville with her Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling. In addition to teaching UNV 101, Mohini is involved in the mental health and wellness community at Pace serving on committees and as a guide for the RADical Health Program. Outside of Pace, Mohini enjoys exploring the city, trying new foods, and becoming immersed in all of the cultures New York City has to provide.
