Dr. Susan Dinan
Dean of the Pforzheimer Honors College & Professor of History, Pace University, NYC & PLV
Susan Dinan is originally from Buffalo, NY and she remains a great fan of winter. She graduated from Cornell University, and received her Ph.D. in early modern European history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is the author ofWomen and Poor Relief in Seventeenth-Century France: The Early History of the Daughters of Charity, and editor of Women and Religion in Old and New Worlds, which has been translated into Spanish. She has taught course in the history of the Reformation, early modern France, and the French Revolution. She joined the Pforzheimer Honors College staff in August 2015, and before this she was director of the University Honors College at William Paterson University in New Jersey.
She is a proud citizen of both the US and Ireland.
Dr. Shobana Musti-Rao
Director of the Pforzheimer Honors College, Pleasantville Campus
Shobana Musti-Rao is originally from India where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Zoology before entering the field of special education. She then went on to receive a Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After her experience working as a special education teacher in an urban charter school in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Musti-Rao completed her Ph. D. from The Ohio State University in 2005 in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis. She has held faculty positions at the University of Cincinnati and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore prior to joining Pace University in 2012. Her current research focuses on the use of mobile technology to supplement evidence-based practices in the K-12 classrooms. Dr. Musti-Rao joined the Pforzheimer Honors College in Pleasantville as a Faculty Advisor in 2015. She is an avid traveler and likes to play tennis in her free time.

Originally from Hamden, CT, Thomas Mooseker attended college at NYU and received a Bachelor’s degree in Film & Television Production. From there, he went on to complete an MFA in English at the University of Iowa Writers’ Workshop where, as a graduate student, he worked as program coordinator for the IWLLC, an undergraduate living-learning community of aspiring writers and artists. As both a writer himself, primarily of poetry, and private instructor for adults, Thomas spent three years living and working in NYC before moving to Westchester, where he joined the Pforzheimer Honors College as an academic advisor in Spring 2017. Outside of Pace, Thomas is a casual but enthusiastic birder, and an overly-passionate fan of Liverpool FC. He is quite excited to be guiding such a remarkable and talented group of students.

Carol has worked with Student Affairs since 2005 starting out in Student Development and Campus and most recently in the Dean for Students Office. She has provided support in many projects such as Convocation, Homecoming, Commencement, and Family and Parent Orientation. Carol and Rich have been married 40 years with two beautiful daughters and are enjoying being grandparents to the adorable Arianna Grace. She is extremely excited to be a part of the Honors College Team and looks forward to meeting all of the wonderful Honors students!
