Banner: Overview of Modules

Banner is the name of a fully integrated software solution developed by Sungard Higher Education (Sungard HE) specifically for higher education institutions worldwide and is used by Pace University to manage its business operations. The Banner system supports and manages student information, accounts receivable, financial aid, alumni/advancement (this last module is not available yet but will be implemented in 2010-11), finance and human resources.

Because it is Oracle-based, the Banner software suite can be extended to interface with many of our other current and future campus systems to create a truly centralized data repository. In addition, Banner includes a number of self-service (i.e. MyPace Portal) features so that students, faculty and advisors, and staff can access personalized and online University services to conveniently conduct business.
