There have been a variety of perspectives in the evolution of research methods within phenomenological work. This year’s conference will focus on a variety of theoretical and methodological approaches in phenomenology and their impact on the state of the science. The application of phenomenological methods to lived experience research will be explored in areas such as education, psychology, medicine, nursing and philosophy to name a few.
Building Bridges: State of the Science
This year’s conference will focus on a variety of theoretical and methodological approaches in phenomenology and their impact on the state of the science. Sub-themes include philosophical traditions providing a foundation for dialogue among human science researchers, phenomenological methods applied within the human sciences, stories from the field that speak to the theme of Building Bridges though the Pandemic.


Housing Options
We offer housing at 33 Beekman, Pace University’s newest residential offering, located just one block south of One Pace Plaza in the heart of Lower Manhattan. There are also a number of 3 star (250 USD a night) and a 4 star ($350 USD a night) hotels within walking distance to the conference.
