Learning Management System (LMS) Transition
Pace University is moving to a new Learning Management System (LMS), Brightspace by Desire 2 Learn (D2L). We will officially be referring to the LMS as Classes. Come back to this page often for regular updates and information on how to get yourselves prepared for transitioning to Classes.

All courses will be taught in Classes beginning with the January intersession, which starts on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021. Fall 2020 courses will be taught in Blackboard except 124 courses taught by 68 instructors. A faculty-led group representing our three campus locations concluded the review and selection during Spring 2020. It is hoped that instructors will take advantage of our new LMS when preparing new courses, using the extensive teaching and learning tools within the LMS. Where instructors wish to use past content from Blackboard, courses from 2018, 2019 and 2020 have been converted and are accessible, with some adjustments being required. Also, we have created a quick start selection of videos if you'd like to begin learning Classes on your own.
We understand that this is another change in uncertain times, however this is one that will provide us greater flexibility in dealing with today’s challenges. Brightspace is cloud-based, mobile optimized and designed for collaboration. It provides an improved learning experience for students and faculty alike with its intuitive, responsive user interface.
