Kaltura

Kaltura is the primary video management system at Pace. Instructors can use Kaltura's integration with Classes to create videos and screencasts in their course. Students can use the My Media area to create and post their own videos. Departments and organizations can create public-facing videos hosted on Pace's MediaSpace site. Other features allow you to:

• Create and upload videos into Announcements, Course Documents, Course Work, and Discussion Board posts in Classes
• Create a screen or webcam recording to submit for an assignment
• Incorporate YouTube videos without requiring students to leave Classes
• Share videos with students through the Course Video Gallery
• View and access reports of video usage in your course

How To Get This Service

Classes

The My Media area is your personal repository of videos saved in Kaltura that can be used in Blackboard.

• Click on the tab labeled Video in Classes
• Click on the Course Media Gallery (Kaltura) link to access it

MediaSpace

Students, faculty and staff can also create publicly shareable content on MediaSpace by logging in with their MyPace credentials. MediaSpace Channels allow you to control which Pace users can view your videos. MediaSpace Playlists allow you to publicly share content and embed your video on other websites.
