Where are you interning this Fall?
I am currently a partnership tax intern at Goldman Sachs.

What have you been working on at your internship? Has it sparked an interest in a career/area of study you hadn’t already thought about? Or has it confirmed that you are on the right path?
This internship has given me an inside view of the tax side of accounting. Helping put together yearly tax returns has shown me all the hardwork and teamwork that goes into finalizing these documents. Although I am still undecided between tax and audit, this experience has opened my eyes to the different opportunities there are within tax.

Do you believe your internship experience has helped to prepare you for your future?
I believe this internship experience has most definitely helped me prepare for my future. One of the key elements in accounting is teamwork and by working at Goldman Sachs I see firsthand their emphasis on communication. I have learned how important it is to check in with every person on your team and offer assistance when you can. It is always a team effort to get the job done and make the deadline.

Any advice for other Lubin students looking for internships?
Be proactive on your search for an internship, it is up to you to make yourself known to the recruiters and have them remember your name. Also, get involved within the Pace community. Joining clubs and organizations makes college much more enjoyable and is great to add to your resume.
