

Established in 2008, Pace Graduate Finance Club ("Pace GFC") provides students with a forum to explore and learn about various aspects of the financial world. Pace GFC's mission is to provide students with the opportunity to learn more about the financial industry from industry executives, Lubin alumni, and faculty members through panel discussions and lecture events. The club gives students an outlet to explore different career options, connect with industry professionals, in addition to share and discuss current financial events with their peers. Pace GFC host several events during the semester and the goal is to increase student's knowledge and skills in finance, professional networking, and the financial industry as a whole. The club serves to prepare young professionals for successful careers and to create more competitive and knowledgeable candidates in the global financial market. The events Pace GFC hosts are designed to enhance the graduate students' knowledge of the industry and provide networking opportunities. In the previous years, Pace GFC has arranged several successful panel discussions and lectures events including:
- How to Become a Successful Trader with the world-class American finance practitioner and author on risk management Aaron Brown
- The popular lecture series Professor's view on Wall Street, featuring a Lubin faculty member's current world economic view on the global market<
- The annual ACG Case competition offering students real-world experience and invaluable insights into M&A, investment banking, financial advisory, and private equity. Several teams of Lubin students compete for a cash prize and the right to represent Pace University at the New York finals. It is a great opportunity to compete as well as network and connect with industry executives and students from other New York business schools
