Executive in Residence Program - 30 Years of Bringing C-Suite Business Leaders to You!

From the Boardroom to the Classroom...
“In the 1987-1988 academic year, Lubin's "Executive in Residence" program was launched. That year we brought to campus the CEOs/chairs of Chase, Pfizer, and Continental Corp, and the treasurer of IBM. That auspicious lineup of C-Suite executives set a high benchmark that has now been sustained for 30 years and has given thousands of Pace students unique access and real-world learning from the top business leaders in the country. Join us as we celebrate our 30th Anniversary of the Executive in Residence program with another outstanding lineup of guests and continue this rich experiential-learning tradition.”

- Barbara Rose Aglietti, Associate Dean,
Lubin School of Business
When the Executive in Residence program was launched back in the fall of 1987, the internet, email, social media, and mobile phones were nonexistent. The only way for students to register for classes was in person, through a paper course catalog, and registration form. The corporate world was no more advanced, save for the use of a fax machine. People worked in a physical office, not from a Starbucks with good Wi-Fi, from 9-5.

Back then, Lubin's leadership felt that bringing top executives to campus to impart wisdom and guidance to students would be one of the best ways to provide them with experiential learning. The methods of communication have changed over 30 years, but this program remains a key component of Lubin's experiential learning strategy. Strong academics, professional internships, and dedicated mentors and advisors provide a unique real world foundation so that all students are market ready upon graduation.

With campuses in both New York City and Westchester, the Lubin School of Business has always had a unique competitive positioning that provides experiential learning through corporate partnerships and close relationships with the business community. We're looking forward to another successful 30 years of bringing the best of the business world to the best of the future business world.
