Celebrating the Class of 2020 and Welcoming the Class of 2024

“You have accomplished so much...and you did it, over these last few months, in an extraordinary situation that made your task even more challenging,” said President Krislov, addressing the Class of 2020 at Pace University’s Virtual Celebrations in May.

Pace’s Virtual Celebrations were held in lieu of a traditional Commencement Ceremony; and they were a resounding success; thanks to the unbridled enthusiasm of the Class of 2020 and their families, as well as the dedication of Pace staff and faculty. Thousands of Pace Community members were able to revel in the conferral of degrees via an interactive YouTube live stream held by each respective school, and more than 23,000 people from around the globe have watched.

Convocation, Pace’s annual ceremony that sets the academic tone for incoming first-year and transfer students, was also held virtually in August. Pace students were welcomed in a way that was certainly non-traditional, but no less impactful.

You are brave, you are committed, and you are the future of Pace. I am delighted that this is where you have decided to spend your next four years. Vanya Quiñones, PhD
