2021 Pace Business Plan Competition

Dreaming of becoming a CEO? Got an idea for the next big thing? Submit your business proposal by Friday, May 14, and you just might win the grand prize: $500, not to mention bragging rights. All great startups have to start somewhere.
The Pace Business Plan Competition is a time-honored University tradition that’s hosted by the Entrepreneurship Lab (eLab). Every year, students submit their ideas for a new company venture via a full-length business plan in hopes of winning the big prize: $500 and, of course, bragging rights. Many winners have gone on to become founders of their own company! Some of their ideas have included:
- >> A holistic fitness and wellness studio;
- >> A design studio specializing in interior design, graphic design, visual brand styling, and art direction;
- >> A dock-less scooter-sharing platform that facilitates personal mobility within small urban distances; and
- >> Much more!
This competition is open to all Pace students (undergraduate and graduate!) as well as recent alumni. Please read the guidelines thoroughly! You will be expected to write details such as an executive summary, objectives for your business, and a market analysis—just to name a few. Ready to get started? The deadline to submit your business plan is Friday, May 14, at 5:00 p.m., and the winner will be announced on Friday, May 21. You must register in order to compete.
Good luck! We’re excited to see what you develop.
