50 Days to Celebrate (PLV)

Attend the Pleasantville Campus Spring 2017 Job and Internship Fair, then seniors can toast with a mojito mocktail to their final semester at a special class celebration as part of 50 Days and 50 Nights.

Stay strong as the weeks continue to wind down this semester! Take part in relay races, interview workshops, athletic events, and more to keep your mind and body sharp as part of SDCA’s 50 Days and 50 Nights on the PLV Campus. Seniors, make sure to attend your special Senior Class Celebration after hitting up the job and internship fair!

Monday, March 27

Grow with Your Strengths
12:00 p.m.–1:15 p.m. | Kessel Well
Make spring come a little faster with a pretty potted plant! StrengthsQuest interns will be giving away flower pots, soil, and seeds for students to decorate their flower pot according to their strengths, and watch their plant and strengths flourish.

Pleasantville Campus Spring 2017 Job and Internship Fair
11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. | Goldstein Fitness Center
Suit up and spring into Goldstein to get in front of nearly 100 employers including Coca-Cola, PwC, and Today Media, who are looking for star interns and employees. Make sure to bring several copies of your resume, dress for success in professional attire, and get ready to make those important networking connections.

Senior Class Celebration
11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. | Goldstein Gym, VIP Room
Class of 2017, it’s your time to celebrate! With only a few weeks until graduation, you may have your sights set on moving toward the future, but don’t forget to soak in the moment before you venture into the real world! Head over to the VIP Room to receive your graduation pin, enjoy a signature class of 2017 mojito mocktail, and indulge in food and a flowing chocolate fountain. Registering for the Pleasantville Campus Spring 2017 Job and Internship Fair gives class of 2017 students a ticket to this exciting celebration.

HiPo Leadership Series: Creating Context

Communication is a crucial tool in every aspect of life, but do you recognize how you perceive others? Learn how we must strive to understand the context and the real meaning behind the words and actions of others. Communication is key in our personal and professional lives, but being able to have a civil discussion is just as important while recognizing our own bias.

Do you have what is takes? Come decide if you have the guts and determination to face your fears in a series of daring events throughout Kessel in this event sponsored by the Programming Board.

Friday, March 31

Purple for Purple Hearts Gala
5:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. | Willcox Multipurpose Room
Open your heart to the Purple for Purple Hearts Gala hosted by Alpha Phi Delta—a pageant where contestants will incorporate purple or camouflage into every outfit. All proceeds raised will be donated to Alpha Phi Delta’s philanthropy, the Wounded Warrior Project.

RHA Month Silent Disco
7:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. | Kessel Multipurpose Room
Twist and shhh...shout! It’s time for Residence Hall Association’s Silent Disco where students will be handed headphones playing different music so they can bust a move around Kessel. The cool part? From onlookers, the disco just looks like a bunch of students dancing to no music, but really you’re jamming to the tunes in your headphones.

Snatch Celebrity Game
7:00 p.m. | Gottesman
Have SNL-level impersonation skills? Put your mimicking magic to the test during Snatch Celebrity Game. As part of Q-Camp, student contestants will perform celebrity impersonations for the change to win a $50 prize. If you are interested in being a contestant, please contact Rachel Simon at

Men’s Lacrosse vs. Saint Anselm College

Put on your pink and head to the Pace Goes Pink to show your support for breast cancer awareness. This matchup against the Saint Anselm College hawks is sure to be a hawk of a good time!

Every rose has its thorn, but the Setters won’t let the College of Saint Rose put a thorn in its side during this game.

Sunday, April 2

Small Steps Toward a Big Cure Walk-a-Thon
10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. | Miller Lawn
Every step counts toward a cure for breast cancer! Walk around campus with friends, learn more about breast cancer, and donate toward research in the hopes of finding a cure. All money raised at this event hosted by Nu Zeta Phi will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

The Pace Setters are ready to show no mercy to the Mercy College Mavericks in this exciting baseball matchup.

Relay Races

Get relay ready for Relay for Life! Participate in relay races, obstacle courses, potato sack races, and more to raise money for Relay For Life and get pumped for the big event later on in the month. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.

Anastasia Trip
6:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. | New York City
Join the Pace Drama Alliance in seeing one of the newest shows to hit Broadway! Inspired by the films, this dreamy show transports us from the twilight of the Russian Empire to Paris in the 1920s, as a young woman bravely ventures out to discover the mystery of her past.

9:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. | Gottesman
This informational event will focus on the dangers of drugs, what common drugs are found on college campuses, and what the misconceptions of these drugs are. It will show how drugs affect communities and how drugs affect culture.

Let me see you one, two, step! Join the step team High Definition as they come together with Pace students to watch an exciting movie about stepping.

9:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. | Kessel Multipurpose Room
Let’s talk about sex baby! Learn more about safe sex in a convention-style setting where you will be able to meet with different organizations and have your questions answered.
