Kick off the new semester (and beat this weird weather) on the PLV Campus with game shows, therapy dogs, the Circle of Greeks fair, and the highly anticipated Pace Got Talent showcase.

Chill Week: Free Money Game Show

Come out and win some free money! Yes, really. The Programming Board is hosting a game show with some sweet winnings, so be sure to bring your friendsThis is the first part of SDCA’s Chill Week, a series to welcome you back after the break.

Game Night

Ready for a little competition? Join the brothers of Alpha Chi Rho for a night of games and great company. It’s a great way to unwind after a day of classes!

Chill Week: Pace Got Talent

Your fellow Setters are set to show off their talents in an evening showcase that’s sure to wow you. From music to dance to everything in between, you won’t need a red buzzer for any of these stellar performances.

Therapy Dogs
Wednesday, January 30 | 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. | Dean’s Lounge
Start the new semester off on the right paw with therapy dogs! They’ll be visiting to help reduce stress in exchange for some pets. Lots of pets. Offers of belly rubs and head scratches will not be turned away.

Chill Week: Chilling with the Programming Board

Free hot chocolate, winter-themed snacks, and chilling with the Programming Board. What could be a better way to beat the cold weather?

Join the sisters of Zeta Phi Beta for a jeopardy event in honor of Black History Month coming up! They’re celebrating their roots with a little trivia.

Chill Week: Violinist Shaun Ward

Renowned violinist, singer, rapper, and producer Shaun Ward is visiting the PLV Campus! Be there for the “Xperience” when he drops some serious beats on his signature bright blue violin.

Chill Week: Trip to Bounce!
Friday, February 1 | 8:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m. | Meet at North Hall Lot
If you’ve never been to Bounce!, the local trampoline park, you’re in for one wild night of fun. Hop, skip, jump, and tumble your stress away for a few hours, or show off your secret gymnast skills.

Movie Night
Sunday, February 3 | 3:15 p.m.–5:00 p.m. | TBD
Relax with Abyss of Sound, the PLV Campus choir, when they serve up free pizza and a movie screening. It’ll be a nice, calm way to start the semester off on the right note.

Football Turn Up

Pace Audio World (WPAW) is screening the Super Bowl with plenty of music and entertaining. Hang out with them and enjoy the game—and the sick beats!

Movie Night: Brain on Fire
Monday, February 4 | 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. | Kessel Multi-Purpose Room
Starring Richard Armitage and Chloë Grace Moretz, Brain on Fire is a drama dealing with mental health. Join Future Leaders in Health Care (FLIHC) for a discussion immediately following the screening!

Blood Drive

If you’re able, we encourage you to give the gift of life! Come to the blood drive with some time to hydrate and rest directly after donating.

Black Business Expo: Part 1

The Black Student Union (BSU) invites you to their exclusive two-day networking event. To kick things off, they will be hosting a panel discussion with entrepreneurs who are passionate about the promotion of multicultural businesses.

Black Business Expo: Part 2

Day two of BSU’s event will invite a number of expert guests who will be speaking about what they do and how they do it. Learn more about different career paths and meet others in a variety of industries!

Library Murder Mystery
