Health Care Kahoot

The Future Leaders in Health Care (FLIHC) are hosting a game night focused on health care questions! They’ll also be handing out t-shirts to the first 30 people who arrive. How much do you know about health care?

Fake News and How to Avoid It

Led by Instructional Services Librarian Sam Kim and Writing Center Coordinator Michael Turner, this important discussion will tackle how you can identify and avoid all the fake news that’s circulating online now more than ever.

Take Back the Night

A national event where participants rally together in an effort to end sexual, relationship, and domestic violence. It is co-sponsored by FIRE (Fighting Ignorance and Rape through Education), the Office of Sexual Assault Prevention Education, the Pan-Hellenic Council, and POWER (Partnership of Women for Empowerment and Respect).

Movie Night: Incredibles 2

Survivors Journey

Friday Night Film Series: Elephant

Incredibly controversial for its time, Elephant is a drama written, directed, and edited by Gus Van Sant. It chronicles the events of a fictional school shooting that closely mirrors the Columbine High School massacre. Join Professor Rebecca Martin, PhD, for a discussion following the film.

For just $5, you’ll get the chance to tie-dye a t-shirt with the sisters of Sigma Iota Chi! All proceeds will be donated to their philanthropy work raising awareness and funds for breast cancer and Alzheimer’s.

So You Think You Can Step?

Open your mind to a whole different culture of performance with High Definition’s step and stroll show. They’re inviting ten local teams to go toe to toe in a competition that will not only introduce you to the art of stepping, but also a whole lot of fun.
