All Black Affair

News Story

Time to break out that tie and shine those shoes—the Black Student Union is hosting a fancy affair on Thursday, February 1, 2018, to celebrate black activism.

In their continued efforts to promote a sense of unity and pride, the Black Student Union will be hosting an All Black Affair on the NYC Campus. This will be a formal gathering, so everything from dresses to dress shirts are a thing, but you must come dressed in all black. This year's gala will celebrate black activism with three all-star keynote speakers and activists: filmmaker and writer Reina Gossett; Workers World Party 2016 presidential candidate Monica Moorehead; and urban farmer, educator, and food justice advocate Sheryll Durrant. Food will be served.

Hope to see you there!
