Alternative Spring Break 2019

This spring break, lend a hand by helping to rebuild homes flooded by Superstorm Sandy. Info sessions start Thursday, February 7. Are you ready to make a difference?

The Center for Community Action and Research (CCAR) wants you! Join them for their annual Alternative Spring Break program where, this year, you’ll travel to Ocean County, New Jersey, in order to help those hit hardest by Superstorm Sandy. Although the storm struck more than six years ago, many families have yet to return home. Pace has made a commitment to help.

By participating in this program, you’ll get an immersive experience while learning about how race, class, disaster relief policy, cultural attitudes, and political attitudes shape the way that communities have recovered from natural disasters.
