3:00 p.m. | Register to attend the Artist Talk with Simonette Quamina

Sign on for a Zoom artist talk with Simonette Quamina to celebrate the opening of her solo exhibition, “The Night Gardener,” at the Pace University Art Gallery on the NYC Campus!

Quamina received her MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her diverse upbringing in Canada, South America, the Caribbean, and New York City is constantly woven into the narrative of her prints, collages, and large-scale drawings. She has exhibited nationally and her works are part of the RISD Special collections library, as well as numerous private collections. She was the recipient of the 2017 Salem Art Works fellowship, the 2017–2018 Provincetown Fine Art Works Center residency and is a studio recipient of the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts Studio program in NYC. She lives in New York and is an assistant professor of printmaking at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.

Throughout her 10+ years in branding, packaging design, and 2+ years in digital design, Isabella Ossott has collaborated in creating and implementing comprehensive and creative work for clients in the financial (JP Morgan Chase, Toyota Financial Services, BCP-Banco de Crédito del Perú) technology (Intel) travel (Air Canada), fashion (Angel Sanchez), health care (Wellforce, GNC) and food/beverage (Pepsico) industries. She has worked for top brand consultancies and agencies like FutureBrand and Arnell Group. In 2013, she started working independently for recognized agencies like Scholastic, Infinia Group, Tipping & Gardner, Dragon Rouge, and Verse Group.

Ossott is always looking to expand her career expertise. She just finished a UXD, User Experience Design Immersive program at General Assembly. Join her for this exclusive talk that will expand on her career!
