ASDS Rep(resent) (NYC)

6 weeks + 14 shows + 34 actors, directors, and playwrights = 1 incredible Actors Studio Drama School Repertory Season.
Here’s your chance to discover the next Bradley Cooper (ASDS alumnus ’00) as the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University’s graduating class brings to life their hard work and talent at the 2016 Repertory Season on March 30–May 7.
The Actors Studio Drama School, the only MFA theater program officially sanctioned and supervised by the Actors Studio, welcomes you to its eighth annual repertory season, which features six weeks of challenging and exciting theater designed to introduce our graduating students to the professional world and the public in fully-professional productions of the work they have created during their three years of study. Witness a series of scenes, one-act plays, and full-length plays, some of them written by our playwrights, and all of them directed by our directors and acted by our actors.
Twenty-nine actors, four directors, and one playwright will put on 14 plays and a total of 70 performances. Shows include Dutchman by LeRoi Jones, The Bald Soprano by Eugene Ionesco, scenes from On Tidy Endings by Harvey Fierstein, The Seventeenth of June by Edward Allan Baker, a new one-act play Black Sheep by Julia Rae Maldonado ’16, and much more.
All shows will be held at the Theater at Gibney Dance at 53 Chambers Street (between Broadway and Centre Street). Admission is free, but reservations are recommended. To make your reservations, email ASDSreservations@pace.edu or call (212) 346-1133.
