The Big Picture (PLV)
Mortola Library wants you to speak up, take some photos, and play some games. Looks like we’re not in Mrs. Husherson’s library anymore.
There's more than just studying and research going on at Mortola Library. In fact, there's photo-taking, game-playing, and all kinds of speaking up.
Windows of Pace Competition
Do you have a favorite place at Pace and photography skills? If so, take a photo of your favorite place on campus and send it to Daniel Sabol (firstname.lastname@example.org) at Mortola Library by October 15. Five student photos will be selected and put into vinyl, wall-sticking “window frames” displaying the student’s name and photo, and be hung throughout Mortola Library. Photos should be high resolution.
Library Student Advisory Council
In order to have your concerns addressed, you need to be heard. Mortola Library is looking for volunteers for its Student Library Advisory Council, which will help provide firsthand information about student concerns and perspectives regarding the Mortola Library and library services. Students will give feedback about library plans and initiatives. The first meeting will be held on Monday, October 20, at 7:00 p.m. and food and drinks will be provided. Contact email@example.com if interested.
Fancy yourself a Scrabble pro? Want to take the game of LIFE into your hands? Was it Colonel Mustard in the library with a candlestick? Take a study break or meet some new competitive friends as the Library and Pace Student Nurse Coalition for Diversity and Development host game night, featuring more than 30 board games, on Friday, October 3, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. For more info, contact Steve Feyl at firstname.lastname@example.org.
