Black Deaths Matter

News Story

In 2016, Pace students rallied in support of the #BlackLivesMatter movement, staging protests and organizing panel discussions. On Thursday, November 16, you’re invited to the NYC Campus to address systematic racism still being perpetuated today.

Trayvon Martin. Tamir Rice. Natasha McKenna. Eric Garner. Tanisha Anderson. Freddie Gray. Mya Hall. Walter Scott. Sandra Bland. Mike Brown. Keith Scott. Michelle Cusseaux. Aura Rosser.

There are countless more names and countless more injustices still being perpetrated a year after the Pace Community came together in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. Enough is enough. Join the Black Student Union and Office of Multicultural Affairs for a panel discussion that addresses the question: “Whose lives matter?”

Thursday, November 16
Schimmel Lobby
3:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m.

Support your fellow Pace students. Fight back against systematic racism. Continue to push for diversity in every conceivable space. Change must start in our community, and the work must continue every day. Let BSU and OMA know they can count on you.
