Bringing an Idea to Life (NYC)
Find out how one thought was transformed into a global marketing firm as the Entrepreneurship Lab hosts an event on Tuesday, September 30, in NYC.
On Tuesday, September 30, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Bianco Room on the NYC Campus, the Entrepreneurship Lab at Pace University will host Ted Levine, founder and chairman, and his son, Andy Levine, president/chief creative officer, both of Development Counsellors International (DCI), to discuss how they have utilized an entrepreneurial mindset to found, expand, and sustain DCI.
Ted and Andy will share with you how they’ve developed the unique concept of “Place Marketing” into a successful company that has grown from two employees in 1960 into its present day status as a leader in international marketing, working with more than 350 cities, regions, states, and countries around the globe, helping to attract both investors and visitors.
At the conclusion of the discussion, they will kick-off the Ted and Pat Levine Proof of Concept Entrepreneurship Initiative, which will provide up to three students and recent graduates the opportunity to apply for competitive grants of $7,500 each to test their new business ideas. There will also be an audience Q&A and networking reception.
Attendance is free and open to the public, but prior registration is required. Learn more and register.
