Build-an-Animal (NYC)

Help the animals by building toy animals! On Monday, November 26, the Pace Against Animal Cruelty club will be sewing together all kinds of lovable stuffed creatures to benefit the nonprofit Animal Avengers.

Build-a-Bear was one thing, but thanks to the Pace Against Animal Cruelty (PAAC) club, you’ll get to choose what stuffed animal you create! Join them for a little toy engineering, plenty of snacks, music, and best of all: charity. They’ll be accepting donations to benefit Animal Avengers, a nonprofit organization that started out as a cat and dog rescue in Los Angeles, CA. It has since expanded to help fund several wildlife rescues abroad, most recently the Rhino Pride Sanctuary in South Africa.

Create a keepsake that will always remind you of the animals you helped save by building a toy animal of your own:
