Build, Break, and Defend (NYC)
On Tuesday, April 8, Pace teams up with LaunchLM to bring you Build, Break, and Defend: Innovation in Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking.
In a time where major organizations and companies like The New York Times and Target are being hacked, cyber security has become an increasing concern. On Tuesday, April 8 a panel of experts will discuss some of the best practices and strategies we can take as consumers and as entrepreneurs as Pace and LaunchLM team up to host Build, Break, and Defend: Innovation in Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Union.
As our online presence continues to grow in the digital world, learn what social networks, data centers, and even the government are doing to protect and secure these networks and manage our vulnerabilities through techniques like ethical hacking. Whether you’re a cyber-security, e-commerce or social media startup, this panel will shed light on the innovations in this important field.
D. Paul Benjamin, PhD, Pace Professor of Computer Science and Director of the Robotics Lab

Every 109 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted. Every 8 minutes, that victim is a child. Meanwhile, only 6 out of every 1,000 perpetrators will end up in prison. Join #PaceUEndRape for a week of action against sexual violence.
