Career Fair Squared
Weeks into the semester and already hundreds of employers magically appear on the NYC and Westchester campuses. Your fairy jobmother has returned. Bibbidi-bobbidi-booyah!
We love Career Services. Not only do we have the largest internship placement program in the New York Metropolitan Area, but they bring hundreds of employers right to our doorsteps each year for incredible opportunities. And the fall fairs are right around the corner on October 2 in NYC and October 8 in PLV.
So spruce up your resumes, dry clean your suit, practice your pitch, and register to attend your campus fair, or both if you’d like.
NYC Fall 2014 Job and Internship Fair
Thursday, October 2 | 2:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.
One Pace Plaza, B and C levels
So far, more than 100 employers have registered for the fair. If you're looking for accounting, you don't have to call 1800Accountants. They'll be there waiting for your resume, as will dozens of companies looking for business, finance, and accounting students like BDO, EY, JPMorgan Chase & Co, Moody's, and more. Looking for publishing and media? Simon & Schuster and Viacom will tell you if you have the write stuff. How about a rewarding career in the nonprofit sector? Skip on over to SKIP (Supporting Kids in Peru), knock it out of the park with Harlem RBI, or find out why New York Needs You. All this and much, much more.
Register here and see who's attending.
Westchester Fall 2014 Job and Internship Fair
Wednesday, October 8 | 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Goldstein Fitness Center
Nearly 100 employers registered including the Big Four (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PwC), Westchester locals like Dannon, IBM, Pleasantville School District, and Westchester Magazine, the FBI, Hearst Media Services, the NYS Office of the Attorney General, and more.
Register here and see who's attending.
Also coming up in Westchester, a Career CrossFit Workshop Series on Wednesday, October 1, from 12:15 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. In less than five hours, you’ll get a full career workout and come out flexing your networking muscles: learn how to work the career fair (12:15 p.m.–1:15 p.m., Kessel Conference Room C/D), resume skills (1:20 p.m.–4:00 p.m., Miller Hall Room 12), and ace the interview (4:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m., Birnbaum Room, Mortola Library). Leave your kettlebells and resistance bands at home. Learn more here.
