About Mark Herschberg
From tracking criminals and terrorists on the dark web to creating marketplaces and new authentication systems, Herschberg has spent his career launching and developing new ventures at startups and Fortune 500s and in academia. He helped to start the Undergraduate Practice Opportunities Program, dubbed MIT’s “career success accelerator,” where he teaches annually.
At MIT, he received a BS in Physics, a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and a MEng in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, focusing on cryptography. At Harvard Business School, Mark helped create a platform used to teach finance at prominent business schools. He also works with many non-profits, including Techie Youth and Plant a Million Corals. He was one of the top-ranked ballroom dancers in the country and now lives in NYC where he is known for his social gatherings, including his annual Halloween party, as well as his diverse cufflink collection.
About the eLab
Founded in 2012, Pace’s Entrepreneurship Lab (eLab for short) is a collaborative workspace designed to bring students together. They have consistently provided students with a space to launch and manage new ventures, while also offering a home base for those wishing to explore entrepreneurship. They also host hugely popular events and competitions like the Mobile App Design Competition, the Annual Pace Pitch Competition, Annual Business Plan Competition, and more.
