Catch Pokémon, Politics, and Pizza (PLV)

News Story

Gotta catch ‘em all! In an event as rare as Charizard, you can catch Pokémon, enjoy free pizza, engage in political conversation, and register to cast your vote in the upcoming presidential election. CCAR brings you Pokémon, Pizza, and Politics on September 8 in PLV.

Interested in catching Pokémon and/or catching up on politics? The Center for Community Action and Research (CCAR) is hosting Pokémon, Pizza, and Politics on Thursday, September 8, from 3:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m. in Choate House, Room 51W, on the PLV Campus. Come meet people with similar interests, have a productive dialogue on politics, and play Pokémon Go at the only office where you can reach the PLV Campus’ single Pokéstop.

Don’t catch Pokémon on an empty stomach! Fill up on some free pizza in between throwing Pokéballs. Not a Pokémon Go-getter? No problem! Talk politics, register to vote, and learn more about CCAR events. E-mail for more info.
