Class of 2020 Virtual Celebrations
Save the date and please join the Pace Community for the Class of 2020 virtual celebrations on Wednesday, May 20, at 1:00 p.m. ET.
Just as Pace has been navigating the challenges of this unprecedented time together, it's equally important that we celebrate our triumphs. While the University is planning a Commencement ceremony for our 2020 graduates at a future date, the Pace Community recognizes the importance of ensuring students, their families, and the faculty and staff members who played an essential role in student development have the opportunity to celebrate the Class of 2020 this spring.
In that spirit, all Pace Community members are invited to partake in the Class of 2020 Virtual Celebrations, taking place on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. ET. These digital events will be school/college-specific and will recognize students at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels across all campuses.
Please note, these virtual celebrations are NOT a replacement for an in-person Commencement ceremony. Specific details about in-person ceremonies are still being worked out and will be dependent on a number of factors, including venue availability, the changing government guidelines about NYS on Pause, and the realities surrounding COVID-19 itself. Once the University has further information and guidance from our local government and public health officials, plans we be communicated to the larger community.
For more information about how to attend, visit the Commencement webpage. We hope to see you there!
Here’s your shot to help keep Pace safe. The health and safety of the Pace Community is our top priority, and getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is a key part. Check back frequently as we announce vaccine availability for our community.
