Constitution Day

News Story

On Monday, September 18 (NYC) and Tuesday, September 19 (PLV), we celebrate the 230th anniversary of the United States Constitution with a day of civic engagement (and cupcakes).

On September 17, 1787, the US Constitution was signed by 39 individuals who changed the course of history. Now, 230 years later, Constitution Day is a time for us to honor the past as well as develop habits of citizenship in a new generation of Americans.

From voting registration tables, to discussions on civic engagement and what it means to be a participatory member of our democracy and society, to trusty red, white, and blue cupcakes, Constitution Day is coming to both campuses. Here’s where you can get involved:
