President and CEO of the National Urban League Marc Morial will be speaking on Monday, October 26, about Black Lives Matter, voting, and how you as a Pace student can continue making a big difference. Let’s keep the conversation going.

So. You voted. Now what? There are many ways to continue advocacy work and allyship even when it isn’t leading up to Election Day. Join Pace President Marvin Krislov and Marc Morial, president and CEO of the National Urban League, for a conversation about Black Lives Matter, voting, and all the ways Pace students can make a difference!

Marc Morial is the current president and CEO of the National Urban League, a historic civil rights and urban advocacy organization. He served as mayor of New Orleans as well as the president of the US Conference of Mayors, and was previously a Louisiana state senator and lawyer in New Orleans. A leading voice on the national stage in the battle for jobs, education, housing, and voting rights equity, Morial is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, the University of Pennsylvania. He’s also one of the 100 most influential Black Americans by Ebony magazine, one of the Top 50 nonprofit leaders by The NonProfit Times, one of the 100 Most Influential Black Lawyers in America, and he has also been inducted into the International Civil Rights Walk of Fame in Atlanta, GA.
