Dancing the Night Away (NYC)

Pace Commercial Dance students and choreographers will light up the dance floor on April 29–May 1 at the Schimmel in NYC.

Forget So You Think You Can Dance. School of Performing Arts BFA in Commercial Dance students can dance and will be lacing up their dancing shoes for the annual Dance Out Loud showcase.

Conceived and directed by Rhonda Miller, one of the most sought-after choreographers in the country and director and lecturer of dance at Pace, the showcase will feature Pace students getting their tap, jazz, ballet, modern, hip hop, contemporary dance, and more on.  

Choreographers include Liana Blackburn, Lauren Gaul, Scott Jovovich, Dee Caspary, Ginger Cox, Jessica Hendricks, Joshua Dean, Martha Nichols, Pedro Ruiz, Rhonda Miller, Sean McKnight, Stacey Weingarten, and Alexandra Damiani.

Performances will be held on Friday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 30 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, May 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Schimmel Theatre. Tickets are $5 for students and $15 for the general public. To purchase tickets, click here.
