Deck the Courtyard (NYC)
The cold weather is here, so the holidays must be near. SGA wants you to join them in spreading holiday cheer from the Courtyard through the campus as they host the Winter Spectacular on December 2.
Student Government Association presents the 2nd Annual Winter Spectacular on Tuesday, December 2 from 4:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m. in the Courtyard on the NYC Campus.
A celebration of the beginning of the winter as well as the fast approaching holiday season, all students, faculty, and staff members are welcome to join SGA for an afternoon of festivities.
The Winter Spectacular will start off with the annual tree lighting as well as the lighting of the eighth light of the menorah. There will also be caroling, music, free food, wishing tree, and holiday games.
In addition, SGA and the Center of Community Action and Research (CCAR) have partnered together to organize a clothing drive to help underserved communities. Please feel free to stop by with clean and gently used business wear, coats, jeans, shoes, etc. Drop-off locations are located throughout campus and residence halls. If you are interested in dropping off items for the clothing drive, but you aren’t able to find one of the drop-off locations, e-mail SGA at firstname.lastname@example.org or stop by the SGA office at 41 Park Row, Room 912. All donations will be given to New York Cares and the Bowery Mission.
Stop by to celebrate the holiday season with SGA and the rest of the Pace Community!
