Dining Options for Fall 2020

Dining on campus is an integral part of student life at Pace. From food to feedback and from gluten-free to GrubHub and sanitization, here's what you need to know about on-campus dining at Pace.

Due to state regulations and in the interest of safety, Chartwells will be limiting the number of guests that can be within the Pace dining halls at one time. They understand the importance of getting you your food as quickly as possible, though, so they’ve made all their offerings available for mobile order pick-up. We've also changed the way our dining halls are cleaned and sanitized. Kessel Café (PLV Campus)
For mobile pick-up and limited in-person orders:
Monday–Thursday | 7:30 a.m.–10:00 p.m.
Friday | 7:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
Saturday | 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
Sunday | 10:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.

Miller Hall (PLV Campus)
For mobile pick-up and limited in-person orders:
Monday–Thursday | 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
Friday | 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Café 101 (NYC Campus)
For mobile pick-up and limited in-person orders:
Monday–Thursday | 7:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
Friday | 7:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
Saturday | 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
Sunday | 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.

GrubHub for Campus Dining

We encourage you to download the GrubHub app prior to coming to campus as this will be the key to dining efficiently and dining at your favorite locations like Starbucks, which is now mobile order pick-up only! You can also register with Pace Dining directly on GrubHub, which makes the process pretty seamless.

Anonymously Text Your Feedback

Whether you love what we’re doing or think we have room for improvement, take advantage of our anonymous text messaging service and share your feedback with us directly. Simply text your thoughts and experiences to us at (914) 908-4433 in PLV or (201) 338-7674 in NYC. Not in the mood to text? Customized Dining

One of the most important things you can do is make a commitment to your health. Whether you are looking to eat healthier, eat more balanced meals, or follow a vegan diet, we have a station called Rooted that offers completely plant-based options. Have food allergies or require a special diet such as a gluten intolerance? Looking to keep Kosher or eat halal? Our chefs and managers are committed to making sure there’s always complete meal options available to you. The best and fastest way to get a specialized meal is to ask your server! They're there to help. And don't forget, there's always our grab-and-go option.

Ongoing Commitment to Sustainability

Dining Services takes an aggressive approach toward maintaining an environmentally sound dining program and is constantly seeking out new and improved ways to further develop our environmental plan. We only purchase shell eggs that are certified by the Humane Farm Animal Care Program in partnership with the Humane Society of America. We have adopted a policy that shifts our seafood purchases away from threatened fish species and toward sustainability sourced supplies recommended by The Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch program. We only serve chicken and turkey that has been produced with restricted use of antibiotic drugs, especially as a growth additive in feed. And last, but certainly not least, Waste Not—our back-of-the-house waste reduction program where we track and measure our food waste. All of the dining locations at Pace University have gone strawless and now all of our plates, containers, utensils, and cups are 100% compostable. Read more about our sustainability practices.

Increased Dining Options—You Voted!

Student Choice, the voting platform, engages guests via social media by enabling them to vote for menu items and/or concepts they would like to see on campus. For example, students can choose a cuisine they want to see in their dining halls and then vote for it. The votes are tallied in real-time and the options are included on upcoming menus. Some things to vote on? Chaat House, Mac & Cheesyology, Smash’d (that’s fancy potatoes), Melt Lab, Tu Tacos, and more!
