Dyson Dialogues

News Story

On November 29, join Dean Herrman and alumnus Anthony D’Iorio ’85 as they discuss the importance of a liberal arts education.

Just over 30 years ago, Anthony D’Iorio graduated from Pace University with a degree in literature and communications. Since that time, he has gone on to earn a law degree and embark on a highly successful career in the legal realm—D’Iorio currently serves as the deputy general counsel for Crane Co., a manufacturer of highly engineered industrial products intended for aerospace, payment and merchandising technologies, and much more. As the next guest of Dyson Dean Nira Herrman’s ongoing speaker series, he will discuss how his liberal arts education prepared him for all the challenges he faced out in the real world—and perhaps ease your very own “entering the workforce” nerves.

This latest installment of Dyson Dialogues will be held on Tuesday, November 29, at 5:00 p.m. in the Butcher Suite on the PLV Campus. All are welcome to attend, and snacks will be provided!

If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to Elizabeth Rogers at
