It’s LGBTQ History Month and both the NYC and PLV campuses will be celebrating National Coming Out Day on October 11 with two very special events!

It’s time to break out all your best and brightest pride regalia, Pace! In honor of LGBTQ History Month 2017, Pace will be celebrating National Coming Out Day on Wednesday, October 11. There are also other special events offered to queer students all throughout the year—just be sure to follow the LGBTQA and Social Justice Center for announcements and details.

Wednesday, October 11

Queer in This Climate (PLV)
12:10 p.m.–1:10 p.m. | Center for Unity and Justice
Join the CCAR and LGBTQA and Social Justice Center for a workshop on inclusive spaces, resources, and current issues currently faced by queer folx today—both within the community and in the federal government. This event is part of the Common Hour Conversation series. Students who attend all three this semester will be entered to win a $50 gift card to the Pace bookstore. National Coming Out Day Fair (NYC)
1:30 p.m.–4:00 p.m. | Birnbaum Library, Lobby
Hang out with the LGBTQA and Social Justice Center for an afternoon of spoken word, poetry, and open mic—a relaxing and informative break in the middle of the week.
