Faculty-Led Programs: Fall 2020

News Story

Earn credits, explore your passions, and expand your world through one of our faculty-led study abroad programs! Enroll by Friday, May 1, for the chance to travel to Belgium, Costa Rica, South Africa, the UK, and more in January 2021.

Faculty-led courses offer a credit-bearing study abroad experience that’s organized and led by expert Pace faculty. Recently, students gotten the chance to visit Brussels and London for international marketing; Costa Rica for writing; Italy for history and education; and so many other destinations. This upcoming fall semester, you can sign up for a class that will travel (in January) to Belgium, Costa Rica, India, Italy, South Africa, or the UK!

There are so many reasons to study abroad. Participation on a faculty-led program will not only expand your academic knowledge, but also help you strengthen your soft skills that today’s employers are looking for, such as intercultural fluency, critical thinking/problem solving, flexibility, adaptability, initiative, cross-cultural communication, and self-awareness.

To learn more, check out the Study Abroad website for information regarding pricing, scholarships, requirements, and to fill out the application. The deadline is Friday, May 1, for Fall 2020 courses that depart in January 2021. Students are welcome to apply on a space-available basis!

Where will you go? What will you learn? And what will you take back with you? The world could be your classroom. There’s so much to see and do.

*Notice regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19): We understand that students may be hesitant about applying for a Fall 2020 faculty-led course (with travel abroad) due to the global COVID-19 situation. All of the Pace Fall 2020 faculty-led courses feature study abroad in January 2021. We recommend that you complete your application for the faculty-led course you are interested in, and also select a backup Pace course on campus; this would protect you in case the evolving COVID-19 situation affects international travel (which could involve a course cancellation over the summer). If a faculty-led course is cancelled by Pace due to an ongoing COVID-19 threat, your $500 deposit will be returned.
