FASB Forum (NYC)

Ever wonder how accounting standards are set? Find out at an official forum of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) on financial disclosure on December 1 in NYC.

Led by Nick Cappiello ’96, with representatives from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), and corporations, as well as investors, lawyers, and auditors, the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) will hold a forum to discuss financial disclosures on Monday, December 1 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Schimmel Center on the NYC Campus.

The forum is designed to provide an opportunity to engage in a constructive dialogue regarding the current state of financial disclosure and some of the current efforts that are underway to improve the effectiveness of such disclosures.

The event is open to the Pace Community and Pace IDs are required for entry. Outside guests must register on the FASB website.
