Dyson Associate Professor Satish Kolluri, PhD, and Confucius Institute Executive Director and Dyson Professor Joseph Lee, PhD, co-edited the book Hong Kong and Bollywood: Globalization of Asian Cinemas, for academic publishing company Palgrave Macmillan. The comparative study of two fast-growing Asian film industries examines issues of cinema globalization, glocalization, and transnationalism, and the challenges they pose to Hollywood.
Lubin Professor and eLab Director Bruce Bachenheimer was invited by IBM to serve on a National Retail Foundation (NRF) Influencer Roundtable titled “The Future of Retail: How Cloud + Cognitive Technology is Transforming the Retail Industry and Driving New Opportunities for Businesses and Consumers” on January 16. Bachenheimer was also asked to develop a program, give the kickoff webinar, and coach mentors of a program called Challenge 2030, which celebrates the bicentennial of the New York Academy of Sciences. Additionally, Bachenheimer was invited by Wipro to give a webinar on entrepreneurship. The webinar will be available to their employees globally.

Pace University will open all three campuses for in-person, online, and hybrid classes for the fall semester, with classes beginning in New York City, Pleasantville, and the Elisabeth Haub School of Law on Monday, August 24, 2020.
