To help ease some of the high stress and uncertainty amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) health crisis, the Counseling Center published a handy guide that includes breathing exercises, mindfulness techniques, apps to download, and more. This can also be helpful during finals! You’re also encouraged to reach out to the Counseling Center team to schedule a virtual appointment if you need support. They’re open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The Learning Center (LC) is on hand—virtually!—to assist with any last-minute tutoring sessions you might need leading up to finals. From chemistry to mathematics to business and more, there’s an experienced tutor ready to review a variety of course materials with you. Just make sure you check out the full list of available LC tutors and the schedule of availability in order to schedule an appointment. Please also note that the LC will be closing for the spring semester at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2020.
While the Pace Libraries are currently closed, their dedicated staff are still very much available to help! They’re logged on seven days a week to make sure you continue to have access to the support services you need, particularly during finals. To that end, they launched an exclusive website with information on how to get help from the Library—from email to phone calls to Live Chats to even texting! Staff are monitoring this service from home, so send in your questions and be sure to review their 15-minute fact-checking workshop that will help you identify fake news.
They also have a virtual motivation wall with plenty of memes and #inspo to help you get through. You’re also welcome to add to it!
