VOX Arts and Literary Magazine is going to knock your socks off with a great end-of-semester speaker series.

VOX Arts and Literary Magazine is hosting a fantastic creative arts series, designed to empower creators and bring artistic vitality to campus. Through the end of the semester, VOX is inviting two writers to speak, read, and share their experiences with the craft.

VOX Literary Journal Launch and Workshop with Visiting Writer Abeer Hoque
Wednesday, November 30 | 12:10 p.m.–1:10 p.m. | Butcher Suite
Join VOX for the launch of their literary journal with visiting writer Abeer Hoque, a Nigerian born Bangladeshi American writer and photographer. Hoque is the author of the recent linked story collection The Lovers and the Leavers, is working on a forthcoming memoir, and her writing and photography has appeared in several outlets published all over the globe. Attendees will receive lunch, copies of the new Vox Literary Journal, and will be treated to a reading from Hoque and the subsequent workshop.

Honors College Thesis Reading

Most people dream about writing a novel, and then simply leave it at that. Honors College student LeeAnn Reynolds has made that dream a reality, and will be presenting a novel—which she has been working on for the past two years—for her senior thesis. Come support a fellow student, and perhaps a future literary star!
