Get Out and Vote!
Election Day is November 3, and the deadline to register to vote in New York State is October 9. CCAR is making sure all students have the voter registration information they need, and as faculty and staff members, here's where you can direct students to learn more.
The Center of Community Action and Research (CCAR) is spearheading the University's voter education initiative, in order to ensure that our students are able to easily register to vote, and find important voter information such as polling place locations, information regarding absentee ballots, and much more.
As Pace faculty and staff, it is critical that we are knowledgeable about this important initiative, so that we can correctly direct students to the proper channels.
CCAR is encouraging all Pace students to register to vote via Pace's dedicated website (CCAR maintains the website along with the Andrew Goodman Foundation, ensuring that the information will always be correct), where they can register to vote, apply for an absentee ballot, keep apprised of important dates and deadlines, and much more. Students can pick up or drop off forms or acquire stamps at CCAR's offices in NYC (One Pace Plaza, Y31), or PLV (Choate 51W). The deadline for registering to vote in NY is October 9, and Election Day is November 3.
Here’s your shot to help keep Pace safe. The health and safety of the Pace Community is our top priority, and getting vaccinated against COVID-19 is a key part. Check back frequently as we announce vaccine availability for our community.
