Get Psyched! (NYC)
On May 3, 2014, students will present on topics including the relationship between creativity and self-esteem, Instagram, and more at the 22nd Annual Pace University Psychology Conference on the NYC Campus.
Each year, Dyson, the Psychology Department, Psi Chi, and the Confucius Institute host a Psychology Conference that features a full day of presentations and poster sessions from undergraduate and graduate students, panel discussions, networking, and keynote speakers, on the NYC Campus.
This year’s conference, being held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 8:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Student Union on the NYC Campus, will feature dozens of poster presentations by students from Pace University, Columbia University, St. Francis College, and more ranging in topics from Instagram to bipolar disorder perceptions; the conferral of the Frances Denmark Award for Outstanding Poster; and panel discussions on getting involved with international research, teaching, and study.
Sonia Suchday, PhD, chair of the Psychology Department on Pace’s NYC Campus, will give the keynote address on stress and health in a globalize world, followed by panel sessions and a celebration of the Confucius Institute.
