Giving Tuesday

#GivingTuesday returns to Pace on Tuesday, November 28, as the Pace Community hopes to set a new record and surpass last year’s total of $126,000.
Now in its sixth year, #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Observed on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. This year, #GivingTuesday falls on November 28, 2017.
Last year, in 2016, Pace University's Office of Development and Alumni Relations surpassed both of their original goals for #GivingTuesday, raising more than $126,000 amongst 426 donors for Pace students in just one day—a remarkable achievement that displays the immense strength and generosity of the Pace Community.
For a second year, the Board of Trustees matched all gifts made as part of the Giving Tuesday efforts meaning more than $252,000 was raised in support of Pace students.
Together, we set a new Pace record for #GivingTuesday, and we'd like to keep those numbers climbing. Every gift—no matter how large or small—makes a difference.
