Hands-Only CPR Training (NYC)

News Story

A lifesaving technique is within reach. Learn hands-only CPR on Tuesday, November 12, from a team of experienced medical experts. You could help gain precious time for someone experiencing cardiac arrest.

Keep your arms straight. Push down using your arms and hands. Continue pressing at a rate of 100 to 120 compressions per minute. Start humming the Bee Gee's "Stayin' Alive." It may seem simple, and it is—if you have the necessary training. Hands-only CPR can be just as effective as conventional CPR, according to the American Heart Association. Learn how you can prepare—and respond—in the event that someone is experiencing cardiac arrest.

Pace’s Government and Community Relations, NewYork-Presbyterian, and Weill Cornell Medicine will be hosting an exclusive training opportunity:

Tuesday, November 12, 2019
6:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m.
157 William Street, Amphitheater
NYC Campus

Light refreshments will be served. To RSVP, email Lindsay Owen, program coordinator for Government and Community Relations.
